Arlan Hamilton is the founder and managing partner of Backstage Capital, an investment firm that focuses on minimizing funding disparities by investing in underestimated founders, namely female, BlPOC, and LGBTQ+ leaders. Since 2015, when Hamilton first started Backstage Capital while she was homeless, the firm has raised more than $7 million and invested in more than 130 companies.
